As is always the case, proper communication with employees is required in relation to what is required from them as a result of COVID-19.
It is good practice to communicate both verbally and in writing with domestic workers. Verbal communication assists domestic workers who may have difficulty reading and allows them to ask questions.
Written communication however remains important because such documents can be taken home by domestic workers and discussed with others. It also provides a record of what was communicated.
