In order to register, employers must first complete a form CF-1E form which must be sent by way of email to RegistrationCF@labour.gov.za The following documents must be included together with that completed form :-

• a copy of the domestic worker’s identity document (or passport and work permit);
• a copy of the employer’s identity document;
• a copy of the employer’s proof of residence; and
• a copy of the employer’s contract of employment (click to download).

Once that form has been submitted, Employers can submit the requisite annual return of earnings forms to the department by way of https://cfonline.labour.gov.za/ (see chapter 3 for how to calculate the amount payable).

If you experience difficulty in utilizing the online system, manual Return of Earnings Forms can also be submitted by way of email to cf-info@labour.gov.za or cfcallcentre@labour.gov.za. Invoices for the amount due will then be sent by way of email.

The return of earnings submissions forms must be submitted between 1 April and 31 May annually failing which fines and interest on outstanding amounts will be charged.
